Rent a boat, be your own captain and sail from Vollenhove (beautifully located near the Vollenhoofsch land) through the "the Head of Overijssel". Enjoy beautiful tours with 2 to 6 people and sail through some of the most beautiful wetlands of the Netherlands, inluding "De weerribben" and "De Wieden", where above all you'll find water, space, quiet and reeds.

You can also visit the picturesque towns of Giethoorn and Blokzijl and follow a dedicated route. Another possibility is to visit museums and other sights and add a cultural-historical touch to your trip.

Experts have known for years: "The head of Overijssel" offers plenty of good fishing water. The type of open boat is very suited to catch a nice fish in a comfortable way.

You don't need a sailing license for the boat, but sailing experience is required.

Reception

You are welcome at the reception for checking in, information, questions about the campsite or the surroundings. Also for cycling/hiking routes, bike rental, coins for washing/drying, gas bottles, fresh bread rolls and much more!

Reception opening hours
Monday through Saturday: 8.45 AM - 5 PM
Lunch break 11.45 AM – 1.15 PM
Sunday: 10 AM - 5 PM

In July and August, the reception is open until 6 PM and between 7 and 8 PM.

Overdekt zwembad

In ons overdekte zwembad amuseren de kinderen zich prima, terwijl jij geniet van het zonnetje en de spelende kinderen. Wij beschikken over een bad van circa 1.40 diep en een apart peuterbad waar de kleinere kinderen heerlijk in kunnen spetteren en zich opperbest kunnen vermaken met onze sproeiende clown. De waterglijbaan zorgt voor waterpret voor de grotere kinderen. Voor baantjes zwemmen in de ochtend is het uitstekend geschikt Het zwembad is verwarmd en heeft een schuifkap die bij de mooie warme zomerdagen open geschoven kan worden. Om het zwembad schoon te houden gebruiken wij zoutelektrolyse. Hiermee maken wij chloor uit zout. Dit voorkomt irritaties aan huid en luchtwegen. Daarnaast is het veiliger en milieuvriendelijk. Het zwembad is open van 27 april tot 15 september 2024. Toegang is alleen voor parkgasten en wordt verleend door middel van gezichtsherkenning.

Wi-Fi is free on the camping grounds. You can use it from your tent or caravan. We also offer free internet in the canteen.

Sanitary facilities

On the campsite you'll find several sanitary buildings with toilets, showers, washbasins, washing rooms, toilets and showers for the disabled, family shower with baby care station, dish washing facilities and central heating.

Snack bar

In the cafeteria you can get a nice snack, chips, a menu, a soft serve or packaged ice cream. The cafeteria is open daily during the May holiday and high season; during low season only during the weekends. You can also buy ice cream at the reception or in the canteen.

Kayak en Kano's verhuur

Genieten van de omgeving in een kajak of kano . Vanaf Vollenhove richting Blokzijl de Weerribben in genieten van de natuur en alles wat het te bieden heeft. Wij hebben voor u kajaks te huur. Service is very important for us, which is why we've selected a small range of products for you. In the service shop you'll find small or forgotten groceries, souvenirs and toys.

Canteen

Our canteen is a nice place to get together. We organise various activities here, like card games, bingo and activity evenings during high season. Of course you can also play a games of billiards or darts here.

Spread out over the campsite you'll find various playgrounds for the children. There's table tennis, a volleyball court and a football pitch

Bicycle and go-kart rent

You haven't brought bring your bike, but it's beautiful cycling weather? You can rent a bike here and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. For the children you can rent a dinghy, great to play on the campsite. The paths are paved, so it's easy driving and also nice for rollerblading or wave boarding.

Billiards

There are 3 billiard tables in the canteen. During the summer months, there also is a pool table available. These billiard tables are 2.30 by 1.15 metres and they're also regularly used for competitions. There's a billiards club that plays here every Friday.
